EMILY ADAMS
Emily Adams grew up in a bustling military household, surrounded by the music of Bob Dylan and Buddy Holly. Inspired by Buddy Holly's performance on The Ed Sullivan Show, she picked up the guitar at twelve. Drawn to the stage, she left for New York City at seventeen. While working various jobs, Emily honed her songwriting and performing skills. A personal tragedy reignited her passion, leading to heartfelt songs like "Betrayal" and "Running from Mine." She recently headlined at Jamey’s House of Music and played at the van der Valk Theater in the Netherlands. In 2023, Emily won Best Folk Song of the Year for "Ray." With 20 unreleased songs coming in 2024 and a new album in the works, her music journey continues. Keep an eye out for her upcoming music video this fall.
